It flash reaches 1000 subscribers!

Ca made a lease that I had not left you the statistics. This time, it is to announce to you the fateful bar capacity of the 1000 subscribers to the blog. This stage was reached for the first time on Wednesday October 27, but it has been only for a few days that it was stabilized with the top of the thousand. To celebrate that, here a splendid graph generated by the tool feedburner throughout the 1 year and half of the existence of the blog:

1000-abonnes-ceclair.jpg

Note that in spite of the chance mishaps, the curve increased systematically. There no was inscription nor of dsinscription in mass, which indicates that the leading line remained attractive for the majority among you. And as for the rate/rhythm of publication, which decreased a little to be stabilized in approximately an article per week, it seems to be appropriate to you since it does not affect the slope of the curve.

I would like to thank on this occasion all those which followed me and which follow me today. It is very encouraging to note that certain visitors appreciate the contents at the point to consult it regularly and it is a factor which justifies me to bring the best of my research to you.

I also benefit from it to thank all the community for the blogueurs, in particular the members of the directory of the French-speaking blogueurs on the personal development. One learned much together this year and I am sure that it is yet only a apperu real potential of the group.

To finish, I leave you the word in the comments. Do not hesitate with poster your remarks, your waitings and suggestions to improve the blog

Books to change life

The books are instruments of choice to carry a new glance on the world. There are those which make travel, those which divert, those which make reflect and those which do all at the same time! Some are so rich of teaching which one has desire for being inspired some, in particular certain books of personal development. These books can lead us to carry out a work on ourself in order to change and live a richer life.

It is on this report that Olivier Roland, author of Zen.fr Practices decided to create new a blog dedicated this time to these famous books. Under the explicit title Of the books to change life , he thus proposes to offer the reviews of his most outstanding readings to us. And Olivier is very motivated since it launched out the challenge of reading 52 of the best books of business in 52 weeks!

The books in question belong to a collection called Personal MBA, which is supposed to contain all the knowledge that one acquires when one studies in order to obtain famous diploma MBA (Master off Business Administration). Then obviously, one can wonder whether the authors of these books are able to replace experienced professors, and especially if all this accumulated knowledge in if little time will not leave in smoke. But Olivier is conscious of these limits and envisaged to apply to the maximum the evoked concepts. Through its personal company, that it has already managed for 8 years, it thus proposes to us to share its experience feedbacks throughout the operation. This ambitious project is thus presented in the form of a major turning in its career.

To also note the english language version of the site: Books that edge changes your life , translates via an offshore oil rig translator engaged by Olivier. Obviously, this version of the site starts to have a certain success since one of the authors of the books of the project, Erika Andersen, located it and benefitted from it to offer a dedicated version of its book!

You will have included/understood it, this site thus did not finish making speak about him. And it will be very invaluable for us to discover good reading tracks.

Good Olivier courage!

There is one year on It flash! - October 2007

The principle of the blogs makes that only the new articles have an optimal visibility on the banner page of the site. However, much of articles remain still valid today.

For those which did not follow this blog since its beginnings, I thus propose each month to you a summary of the articles which were published the last year at this period.

Here the summary of October 2007:

100 councils to build a blog with success [2/2]

Here thus the second part of my 100 councils to build a blog with success (follow this bond to reach the first part). If you think of others, do not hesitate to supplement the whole in the comments!

Organization and management of time

52. You concentrate on the most profitable tasks: your time is invaluable, then concentrate it on the tasks which bring back the most benefit to you. For example, poster on 5 new blogs will certainly not have the same range as only one article on a blog with high traffic. In the same way for your ideas of articles: priorisez those which have the most chance to have success. Also think of saving time while renonant with your sterile activities more, of kind video games, television series, etc

53. Write during your moments of optimal productivity: to early write the morning or late the evening is often an excellent choice to be with calm and to avoid the distractions.

54. Devote 90% of your time to the contents: because it is the containing hydrocarbon one of your blog. You will have a very sophisticated blog in vain, it will not go far without contents.

100 councils to build a blog with success [1/2]

Always in the logic of the birthday of It flash! , I propose today a list of 100 councils to you to have success with your blog. And as the article started to take length, I divided the whole into 2 articles. This is thus the first part.

Foreword: my blog not being perfect, you will realize that certain quoted councils are not applied to It flash!. These are often points that I have the intention to follow but that I reserve myself for later.

To start

1. Use WordPress: very clearly most popular and most professional of the engines of script of blog.

2. Buy your domain name as soon as possible: you can always test your blog on a free shelterer of the kind wordpress.com or blogger.com, but do not lose too much time, because a change of field is always penalizing: all referencing will be to remake.

Blog Birthday: 1 year already!

Today, it is the birthday of the blog It flash! Here is already a year that I regularly share with you my lucky finds in the sector of the effectiveness and the personal development. And like wants it the tradition, it is time to draw up a small assessment of the traversed way.

Above all, I would like to greet and thank all the readers for the blog. Because even if the flame of the motivation must come from the interior, it is largely poked by your support and your reactions. With you all, thank you for any heart!

So much of things were carried out this year, and at the same time, so much of things remain to achieve. My best surprise will undoubtedly remain the social dimension of the blogging, and in particular this fraternity which the blogueurs constitute. Admittedly, most influential are not easily accessible, the majority remain however accessible and lend themselves with pleasure to certain exercises like invited articles collaboratifs or articles.

The ultimate list of the blogs of personal development French-speaking people

developpement-personnel-point-org.jpg

3 weeks ago, I initiated a collaboratif project aiming at creating a list of the French-speaking blogs on the personal development. The principle: to quote all the blogs which you know on the subject in the comments of the article. You were numerous to take part and it seems that one to date joined together a list representative of the blogs of the community.

Here which was my manner of proceeding to join together this list:

  • For each site soumi, I initially checked that the site is well a blog. For example, the sites which do not contain that some static pages to present the activity of a coach under development personal were not retained.
  • I also checked that the topic of the blog was suitable. It is not an easy task because like says it Laurent, each one has his own definition of the personal development. What is certain, it is that one waits of a blog on the personal development to provide us councils and not only facts. The topic must also approach one of the fields of the personal development.
  • For each blog, I then recovered the name of the author and his coordinates in order to make contact and speak a little about the project (for those which I did not contact yet, you can write to me on argancel [with] ceclair.fr).
  • Lastly, via the blogolists or the comments, I tried to find others blogs in relation to the personal development.

How to sort a list of blogs according to their index of Technorati popularity?

In the preceding article, we learned how to serve to us as the XScrape free software, which makes it possible to extract from the data of the Web. We will use it today in a practical example: the sorting of a list of blogs according to their Technorati index.

The index of popularity of a blog, within the meaning of Technorati, corresponds to the number of blogs different which binds towards this blog. It is not inevitably an indication of quality but an indicator of the influence of the blog in the blogosphre, which can be also related to the capacities of the author to promote his blog. It is thus logical to be interested in it in order to study the methods of the blogueurs who succeeded in making their hole.

To consult the index of Technorati of a blog, anything simpler: it is enough to consult the page http://www.technorati.com/blogs/ {adresse_du_blog_voulu}. Consequently, it seems easy to automate the recovery of the index of Technorati of several blogs thanks to XScrape.

In order to make our company interesting, we will lean on the list of blogs of personal development of Priscilla Palmer (eh yes, I is not wearied any;). The sorting of the list of Priscilla will proceed in 4 distinct phases:

  1. Automatic recovery of the bonds of the blogs of the page of Priscilla Micrometer caliper
  2. Transformation of these bonds into Technorati bonds
  3. Automatic recovery of the Technorati indices of all blogs
  4. Sorting of information obtained

Collaboratif article draft: the ultimate list of the blogs of personal development French-speaking people

The ultimate list of the blogs of personal development French-speaking peopleIf you read me regularly, you will certainly have seen spending last year an article which referred to a large list of blogs on the topic of the personal development: Personal Development List de Priscilla Micrometer caliper.

Success was such as this list was published on a hundred blogs specialized. It was a real aubaine for many small blogs which thus could be made known and to constitute a small capital of bonds return.

The limit of this list, it is that even if she wanted to be international, well few blogs not-english-speaking slipped there. There was It well flash, Russian and an eskimo (not there I joke;), but the vast majority were anglophone. In short one felt a little oppressed by the any power of English.

The goal of this article, you will have included/understood it, is thus to promote the French-speaking blogosphre of the personal development through a new list: the ultimate list of the blogs of personal development French-speaking people. But so that this list gains the interest which it deserves, I decided to defer his publication to later and to put to you at contribution, you them readers, to help me to build it and enrich it thanks to your bonds.

The concept is thus simple: to quote a maximum of blogs of personal development French-speaking people in the comments of this article. And the week of March 16, I will publish the result of this collection of bonds in a dedicated article. I count then on the generosity of the blogueurs quoted to reproduce this list in one their articles. We will have our clean buzz thus French-speaking personal development!

Lodging not expensive at 1&1 for those which have a small budgetGood news at 1&1 : their offer of lodging first price (pack perso initial) was upgrade:

  • Space Web: 1.500 Mo - > 2.500 Mo
  • Traffic included: 25 Go/mois - > 100 Go/mois

For information, will know that the blog It flash! exceeded its quota of 25 forever Go/mois although medium-heavy trafic passes very close to from now on the 1000 pages seen per day. But if calculation is made, no doubt that it would have been reached soon.

Here thus an oxygen puff which comes at named the right moment. Thank you 1&1!

Personal development and effectiveness: the blog

After the blog moreover, here another interesting discovery concerning the productivity (thank you del.icio.us) with the rather evocative name of: Personal development and Effectiveness.

developpement_personnel_et_efficacite.JPG

It is a blog rather discrete but filled of interesting and original councils. Created almost 2 years ago, one is lost easily among the many articles. Among those which I noted, one finds of the practical easy ways:

  • natural yoghourts without yaourtire
  • how to design a lectern with a box with CDs

councils to organize itself:

  • to arrange its papers
  • to classify to find

a file on the management of time:

  • 40 principles for the management of time

and this is only the emerged part of the iceberg.

The drafting of the articles is looked after and the whole is decorated many quotations and bibliographical references. A great cheer thus with Fred for this blog very succeeded. I feel that I will spend the hours to traverse it!

A blog moreover on the productivity and the personal development

A blog moreover on the productivity and the personal developmentI have the honor to present to you small new in the world of the French-speaking blogs devoted to the productivity and the personal development. It would be said that it was conceived for this article since it is called the blog moreover. I do not believe that it is a title of most effective but in any case that has the merit to remain modest, compared in the slogan of it flash! : Effectiveness with the daily newspaper ;)

The site starts rather extremely with a file on management attitude cut out in 10 articles:

1. The language of the body
2. To achieve its goals
3. To maintain an good atmosphere
